Hela Bonnell was educated in England and has a BH Hons Degree and a certificate in Education. Her interests in jewellery grew out of her love of light reflective materials and her desire to manipulate them. To achieve her ambitions, she undertook professional courses and studied Jewellery making at Richmond and Hounslow Colleges in London, and at West Dean in Chichester. As well as many weekend courses, she has travelled widely to expand her knowledge in this field. Her jewellery is a product of the sheer mastery of the discipline and the pleasure of working with metal.
