Hela Bonnell Lives in the U.K. She was educated in England and has a BH Hons Degree and a certificate in Education.

Her interests in jewellery grew out of her love of light reflective materials and her desire to manipulate them.

To achieve her ambitions, she undertook professional courses and studied Jewellery making at Richmond and Hounslow Colleges in London, and at West Dean in Chichester. As well as many weekend courses, she has travelled widely to expand her knowledge in this field.

Although most of her commissions come from the U.K, she has undertaken work for people from abroad, including Hong Kong, Jamaica and America. 

Her work is on show at Art and Craft shows and Exhibitions in England.

She is eager to share her experiences of jewellery with others and has given lectures, demonstrations and workshops in London and abroad.

Her work has a strong but feminine quality.

Her jewellery is a product of the sheer mastery of the discipline and the pleasure of working with metal.
